Could God be Calling You?
God continues to call men and women to follow Him in a unique and life-giving way. You may be called to the priesthood, the permanent diaconate, or to consecrated life as a religious sister, religious brother, or member of another form of consecrated life. Every vocation is a gift from God- a personal invitation to know Him more deeply, to serve His people generously, and to share in the mission of the Church.
Through the Sacrament of Holy Orders, bishops, priests, and deacons are ordained to continue Christ’s ministry of teaching, sanctifying, and shepherding his people. Those called to consecrated life give their lives entirely to Christ, becoming living witnesses of the Gospel through lives of prayer, love, community, and faithful service.
Discerning Your Vocation
The best place to begin is by speaking with one of your priests. They would be happy to meet with you, answer your questions, and accompany you as you discern where God may be leading you.
To schedule a conversation, please contact the parish offie. You are also encouraged to explore the vocation resources offered by the Diocese of Hamilton, found here
